I have wondered how much to say about my circumstances over the last week. Many of you have put faith in me, & I want to be honest with you. I have only held back because I wanted to avoid giving anyone “satisfaction”, or letting them see me bleed.
But I woke up this morning with real gratitude to my enemies. I saw that I had, in a million little ways over the last five years, collaborated with them to make this happen. I despised what I was doing for money, & I wanted to be free, but I lacked the courage to burn my ships. So I will tell you the whole truth, & if the people who hate me also enjoy reading it - perhaps even choosing to share it amongst themselves - they are welcome.
First: Doxxing is not “hell”.
For me it has been almost entirely adrenal. We have already seen miracles, & we aren’t worried about the future. Even before the hammer dropped, I realized I was ready to go - it was not worth denying or recanting, & I certainly wasn’t going to stop writing. But my heart has been racing, and I have had the runs, and I haven’t really slept or eaten in the last 96 hours.
If you haven’t been there, you may imagine that this is worry - “how am I going to pay the bills” or “who will stop being my friend” - but this bodily, animal fear has almost nothing to do with worry. It’s the realization that there are enormous inhuman forces that are hostile to you, & that they can do what they want with you, & it really doesn’t matter what the facts or the “rules” are. Once they’ve decided to hurt you, & you see that the only real limits are the extent of their malice & their attention span, a job seems like a pretty small thing to lose. If you are “worried”, it’s just about how much further they might take it.
Like most of you I have been angry to see this happen to my friends, & said “I wish there was something we could do about this” - but as another doxxed friend pointed out, the diffuse efforts of individuals don’t easily combine into a solution for this kind of problem.
Second, doxxing isn’t really the problem.
It’s just the crisis, the breaking point that makes the problem unsustainable. Too many of my friends are stuck working for people they despise, doing work they don’t care about at all, or that is actively making the world worse. They’re taking orders from flabby, stunted creatures they would have chained to an oar in a saner age. And they’re keeping their mouths shut, because they can’t see any way out.
With these things in mind, I am announcing EXIT - a community of men who want to get out from under these people & build something for ourselves. We are assembling experts in any field that makes our guys less beholden to the HR panopticon. Here’s what we’re working with so far:
Operational security: if you’re anon, we want to help you stay that way
IT and data science: massively generalizable skills that every company needs
Entrepreneurship: starting your own business can make you antifragile
Trades: Good pay, honest work, & a path to self-employment
Self-defense/goon stuff: Mostly just for fun - but you never know
Homesteading: From backyard gardens to self-sufficient family farms
Commercial animal husbandry & farming: Another path to self-employment
More to come: We’ve got a lawyer & a financial advisor who can talk to us very carefully, some guys who know some things about crypto & passive income, etc.
Members get access to exclusive seminars & group trainings, & several of our experts have offered one-on-one mentoring & networking help for members who want to make a start in their field.
Once a week, we have a group call to share ideas & progress, and once a month, we hold a “hot seat” call where one member describes an obstacle in the way of his personal Exit, and we bring the brain trust together to find a solution. Members will also get early access to the Exit Podcast, where we interview outside friends & experts on relevant topics.
As Exit grows, we will build funds for the charitable and legal support of allies who have been targeted by the mob, with members counseling together to direct finances and coordinate social media campaigns.
